Four Generations of Turbocharger Expertise

Willem Franken, General Manager of TurboUSA, represents the third generation of Franken family turbocharger expertise. Willem's grandfather, Willem Franken I, was an engineer with ABB. Willem's son, Joey, is a TurboUSA workshop engineer.

After 17 years of experience with ABB, Rotterdam, Hans Franken, father of Willem, established TurboNED in 1986. Hans grew the company from a start-up to an international network with multimillion Euro sales. In 2009 Hans divested his interest in TurboNED and acquired 100% of the shares of TurboUSA. Hans brings a wealth of turbocharger expertise and business experience to TurboUSA.

A Passion For Customer Satisfaction

All four generations of the Franken family share a common value: The Customer Is Number 1. Accordingly, they will do whatever it takes to meet or exceed customer requirements. A few examples.

TurboUSA maintains the most comprehensive multi-brand turbocharger specification database in the industry. In this manner the company can respond instantly to customer technical issues.

TurboUSA ensures that their field service engineers are trained to deal with every breakdown or routine maintenance need. The company's training program is supported by procedures and work instructions developed in accordance with ISO 9001:2000.

TurboUSA has a commitment to long term customer relationships. It recently completed on site training with power plant customers in the Caribbean and Central America. Critics may argue that providing turbocharger training to customers is a mistake. However, TurboUSA believes that sharing turbocharger expertise with customers is a critical step in minimizing future turbocharger problems and therefore maximizing customer satisfaction.

New Headquarters & Technical Center Facility

To better serve its customers, TurboUSA has relocated to a new facility. The new building in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is triple the size of the old facility and allows the company to offer more remanufacturing services and stock higher inventory levels.

TurboUSA is an authorized representative of Mitsubishi MET turbochargers. We offer more than 20 years of MET experience, genuine MET parts and field service engineers trained in Nagasaki, Japan. As a full service authorized agent, TurboUSA can tackle any MET turbocharger issues that arise.
