Willem Franken, President of TurboUSA, represents the third generation of Franken family turbocharger expertise. Willem's grandfather, Willem Franken I, was an engineer with ABB. Hans Franken, Willem's father, is the former President of Netherlands based TurboNed. Joey Franken, Willem's son, just joined TurboUSA as a Field Service Engineer.

In addition to extensive experience with ABB, Napier and MAN turbochargers, TurboUSA is an authorized representative of Mitsubishi MET turbochargers. We offer more than 20 years of MET experience, genuine MET parts and field service engineers trained in Nagasaki, Japan. As a full service authorized agent, TurboUSA can tackle any MET turbocharger issues that arise.

Largest Turbocharger Inventory in the Americas

As TurboUSA has the largest inventory of parts suitable for ABB turbochargers in the Americas (casings, nozzle rings, sealing bushes, rotors, compressor wheels and turbine blades) 95% of their orders are shipped within 24 hours. Not only do customers want speedy part deliveries, they also insist upon quality parts. All TurboUSA parts meet or exceed OEM specifications.

State-of-the-Art Technical Center

TurboUSA's new state-of-the-art technical center undertakes turbocharger repairs and reconditioning. The Technical Center permits TurboUSA to avoid expensive middlemen and provide its customers with a lower-cost quality alternative to new parts.

Of special interest, is TurboUSA's rotor shaft metal spray capabilities. TurboUSA has the only Lloyd's Register approved rotor thermal spray process in the Americas. This 1200°C fusing process offers three significant advantages compared to the traditional "Cold Repair" process:

1. Machined surfaces such as keyways and threads can be treated.
2. The shaft can be balanced on the new layer without risk of damage.
3. Parts are restored to their original dimensions and strength

With its 24/7 Customer Service Department and worldwide strategic alliances, TurboUSA is able to dispatch skilled engineers for turbocharger service and/or repairs anytime and anywhere a customer desires.
